CinemakTerms of Service
By using Cinemak you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where local law requires) to use Cinemak.
2. Acceptable use
- No harassment, hate speech, or threats against other users.
- No spam, scraping, or automated abuse of the API.
- No content that violates copyright, privacy, or applicable law.
- No attempts to circumvent rate limiting, paywalls, or moderation.
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the lists, ratings, reviews, and posts you create. You grant Cinemak a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the service. You can delete your content at any time by deleting the relevant items or your account.
4. Film metadata
Film and people data is provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
Cinemak Premium is sold via the Apple App Store and Google Play. Purchases, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are governed by the platform you bought through. Premium removes ads and unlocks power features.
6. Disclaimer
Cinemak is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about availability, accuracy of recommendations, or fitness for any particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or, if you have paid nothing, €50.
8. Termination
You can stop using Cinemak and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email; continued use after the changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Cinemak is operated, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The specific jurisdiction will be added before public app-store launch.
